Bill Dirst, Founder
Over the course of eight plus years, Bill Dirst developed the technology that is the foundation for reBounces — the first methodology and equipment that puts the bounce back in old tennis balls. Prior to founding reBounces, Bill was the Special Projects manager for the Arkansas Department of Education handling various projects including cartographic and maintenance functions for the Department’s GIS, coordination of the US Census Bureau’s SDRP program and Arkansas on iTunes U. Previously Bill was the Executive Director of Operations responsible for all business functions at EAST Inc, an educational non-profit. Prior to serving at EAST Inc, Bill was a Middle and High School English teacher in the Omaha (AR) School District where he was the Volunteer Tennis Coach, which is where the idea for the Green Tennis Machine was hatched. Bill earned his MBA at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and his BA at Clemson University.
Cannon Fletcher, Co-Founder / Business Development
Prior to co-founding reBounces, Cannon Fletcher was the Finance Manager for the $1.2B+ Solar Segment of Saint Louis based MEMC Electronic Materials (NYSE: WFR). Prior to MEMC, Cannon gained experience when turning around the finances of an Arkansas non-profit from $2.4M in debt to zero debt and a $300k+ cash surplus in three short years. Cannon began his career at Deloitte and Touche after graduating from Ouachita University (AR) and earning his CPA; additionally earned his MBA from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Cannon enjoyed playing tennis growing up and earned All-State in Tennis and Soccer in high school and later chose to pursue soccer in college.
Grant Garland, Sales
Prior to reBounces, Grant Garland was a sales manager & systems designer for an Arkansas-based custom electronics firm. Grant studied journalism and literature at the University of Arkansas. Grant is a self-proclaimed sports “nut” and started playing tennis at the age of 8.
Eric Korita, Sales
The former ATP Tour player with a booming serve (145MPH+), Eric Korita joined reBounces first as a consultant at the end of 2010 and then later as VP of Sales in the Spring of 2011. Prior to joining reBounces, Eric was a certified Level 1 USPTR Teaching Professional and Director of Tennis at several high profile regional clubs including the Country Club of Little Rock (AR) and Hollywood Golf and Tennis Club (NJ). Eric reached career highs on the ATP Tour rankings of 42 in Singles and 30 in Doubles, while reaching the semi-finals at the 1984 French Open doubles event and the quarter-finals at the 1988 French and US Open. After wrapping up his training at the Bolletieri Tennis Academy, Eric earned All-American honors twice under the tutelage of tennis legend Dennis Ralston at Southern Methodist University.
