Tennis Industry reCycling Facts:
- More than 300 million tennis balls are produced each year. 300 million tennis balls translate to 18,750 tons of non-biodegradable landfill waste.
- Tennis ball cans are not easily recyclable as most recycling centers in the United States will not accept the cans with the aluminum ring at the top.
