Dent Tennis Academy Update

Posted on: March 11th, 2012 by admin No Comments

At the BNP Paribas Open Tennis Ball Recycling Event, Taylor Dent stopped by to talk about the reBounces Green Tennis Machine he purchased last year for the Dent Tennis Academy.  First, Taylor was one of our favorite players on the Tour and one of the last great serve and volley guys (fingers crossed that S&V comes back on the tour level soon if ever).  Second, Taylor and Jenny bought their Green Tennis Machine and have been ecstatic about the results — consistent ball bounce for their lessons, drills and ball machines and saving the planet!  Hope to get a video up later this week.

BNP Paribas Open Wrap Up / 30 Days in the Desert

Posted on: March 28th, 2011 by admin No Comments

Well, we made it home just in time for Mother Nature to throw some more winter weather on us.  I must say that it is a bit easier to take when you’ve been basking in the desert sun.  The awe inspring beauty of the Coachella Valley is something that your mind’s eye is not soon to forget.  Had an incredible time and can’t wait until next year.

The goal was achieved for the 2011 BNP Paribas Open “Rally, RoundUp & Recycle” promotion. In addition to the 30,000 balls we collected from spectators at the tourney, we collected over 100,000 balls from the Southern California Tennis Association.  The winners are as follows:

1st Place / Tennis Media Group

2nd Place / Billie Jean King Tennis Center

3rd Place / Palm Desert Tennis Club

The winners were treated to an all-exclusive pass to the tournament which included access to the BNP Paribas Suite.  World-class tennis, food and company – we had a great time.  Thank you to all the clubs/organizations that particpated in the promotion and we look forward to an even bigger, better event next year.

BNP Paribas Open 2011 – Desert Delight

Posted on: March 5th, 2011 by admin No Comments

Well, here we are again.  It’s hard to believe that another year has passed already.  Eric (huge guy in picture) and I arrived a few days ago and are hot on the sales trail showing off our Green Tennis Machine – the only tennis ball repressurization system designed specifically for tennis pros/facilities.  The beauty of the Coachella Valley continues to warm my skin and my soul; I feel like a snake shedding winter skin (I guess that would have to be some type of indigenous desert diamond back.)  We are here for an amazing 3 weeks – did I mention I love my job?  Cannon and Bill said it is in the 30′s back home so I know they are anxious to join us.

The BNP Paribas Open main draw starts Wednesday and should be another amazing tourney.  Once again we are partnering with BNP Paribas, Indian Wells Tennis Garden and FedEx Ground to raise tennis ball recycling awareness.  In addition to our tennis ball recycling promotion for spectators, we have added the “Rally, Roundup & Recycle” campaign.  We have a goal of collecting 100,000 tennis balls via the help of Southern California clubs/organizations and are almost there.  If you are coming to the tourney please remember to bring your old tennis balls so you can exchange them for new ones!  For every 6 balls donated, you will receive a can of new ones.  The promotion will be held both weekends of the tournament so come see us at the booth (Look for the FedEx truck.  Can’t miss it.)

Everyone is starting to arrive.  Can’t wait to see all our wonderful friends and anxious to make new ones.
